Chances are very slim being that you are not on island. Even the local lending institutions are cautious of newcomers looking for loans. It is no reflection on you, but you have to understand, this is a very transient place, and they have heard every story in the book! Ifyou have impeccable credit, it still takes time to establish yourself here. Many people and banks have been burned in the past. Your best bet is to try one of the stateside institutions like Merill Lynch, who by the way, right now have a few houses up for marshal's sale because of folks running off!
Once again I have to ask you to understand that it is no reflection on you.
