I have heard many stories about the problems moving a car if it has a lein on it. Our's does but we have notorized copies of the title (X3) and notorized letters of authorization (X3) as requested by tropical.. We have also got a Power of Attorney Notorized as requested by tropical!!!!!!

Is there anything Else we will need to get the car there?

I dont want to face problrems when we get there.

We have been given the name of a local who will do all the clearing for us. She comes highly recommended by our employer. Will this help or should we do it ourselves?

You should call Lee at Managed Freight 888-820-8475. He will handle everything from getting you the best rate for shipping your car to the VI, plus he can also handle the tax and registration process when your car arrives in St. Thomas.

Good to know...I'm writing that one down for myself. We'll be going back through this whole process in a year, and from shipping cars before, getting things ON the boat was easy. It was getting it off that was a royal PITA.

Does Lee also handle car shipping to STX? We will need to ship two cars and both have liens.

SunnyG,

Lee can handle every aspect of your car move. He can even handle the registration hassle (I mean process) once it gets to the Island. You will need to get written permission from your lien holders.
