Moving around July/August

Hey all, I'm seriously considering moving to St. John around July or August and I'd like to know a few things-

I've read a few posts and what I understand is that that is the best time to find a place to stay, but realistically, how hard would it be to find an apartment to lease? Also, what is the price range per month?

I'm a bartender with a good bit of experience-is it easy to find a job?

I wouldn't mind knowing someone else who wants to go down there. If anyone else is moving down around the same time, I'd love to talk about plans.
