We just got our 2005 property taxes.We paid the the same amount as this bill shows last year, but I can't find the copy of the tax bill.What is going on with the USVI government.What did I pay last year, 2004's bill? When will I get the current years bill?It can't be the rum getting to me.Any place on line where I can check my past payments?

The 2005 bills are still based on the 1998 bill (which is what the 2004 bill was based on).
HTH.
BTW, you should keep copies of all your tax receipts and payments as the record-keeping is less than stellar and you will be required to show evidence of paid taxes if you ever sell or transfer the property.
