Can anyone tell me what is involved with bringing our dog back to California? He came with us from there originally.

All you need is a health certIficate dated within 10 days of travel and an updated rabies vaccine. Is he big, small? Snub-nosed, normal snout? His size/breed affect your travel options...

You should contact the airlines directly to find out their policies. A small dog which can fit into a carrier which will fit under a cabin seat is less of a problem than a larger dog which has to travel in the hold but there are many general restrictions as well as seasonal bans (May 15-September 15) because of heat issues.
