Moving Firearms to STX

I am relocating to STX in 3 weeks for my new job. I would like to move my firearms with me, as shooting is a hobby of mine (ex-military). Is there any different rules or regulations as to how many and of what type can be moved to your new residence there vice a move in the mainland?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I don't know the exact answer to your question, but if you call the D&J Shooting Gallery (340-713-9058 or 340-719-1996) they can walk you through the process. My husband took his gun to a gun dealer in NJ who sent it to D&J. Don't hold me to this, as I'm not sure, but I think you need a license and I believe D&J can hold the guns for you until you get a license. If you call them, they'll give you the accurate scoop. KJ
