Hello! I currently live in Mexico(Queretaro) but am from the US- I am a Paralegal in a hispanic Law Firm & am looking to move to STX. I have a great friend that lives in STT. I am uneasy about moving, obvioulsy, I have never lived there. It's wild, b/c I have traveled all over the world-Lived in Spain & Mex & am fluency in Spanish-just looking for recommendations or helpful advise. Thank you so much...in advance!

Maggiemex,
Try it out! If it doesn't fit, you can easily jump to Puerto Rico and give it a whirl there. either island is just as close to your friend in STT. In fact, it may be an easier adjustment to go to PR first, and visit STX to see if you like it there better. Just a thought.

Adios!

Good paralegals do very well in the VI. Plus being fluent is Spanish should be a real bonus.

Maggie, my husband and I moved from the D.F. to STT six years ago and we absolutely love it here. Even on STT many people speak Spanish (especially immigrant families), even more so on STX. Much of what we love about Mexico is true here, and it's certainly a beautiful place to live.
