Me and a friend are moving soon to St. Croix soon. How easy is it to get a job on St. Croix probably in the service industry is it. Also is there a hostel or cheap hotels to stay in till we have secured a place tp live in.

Soon? You're moving in season and want a cheap hotel? That might be tough. No hostels or anything like that. You might be able to pitch a tent at Mt Victory Camp. Even the cheap hotels are usually booked Dec, Jan and Feb. Maybe with the horrible economy there might be some openings. Good luck.

honestly you'd probally be better off on STT at this time of year,most of the good places have done their hiring for season already over here on STX,the places you see advertising for help here now or by the time you get here are the ones that tend to go through employees like toilet paper.Just my opinion.

call Marc at Hibiscus Beach Resort on Friday 11.28.08 - Hibiscus is located on the North Shore, about 3 miles west of downtown Christiansted and they do ALOT of short-term PMV rentals at discounted rates, but their rates for PMV and short-term rentals will be going up mid-December and won't drop again til April 1st. 340.718.4042.
