Hello, I am moving to St Thomas Nov 1st. I have, well, every night I read, search and get more and more info. My plan is to get a one month rental and find and do everything in those 4 weeks. I have lived on an island before (although it was not paradise like USVI) so I understand a little more than those that have never been. I have someone in the states that will then ship (very little) to me

Your situation sounds to be a carbon copy of mine.. I will be on Island in just 123 days... Thank goodness that time flies : ) Good luck to you planning the move.

I can be done! I moved to St.Croix and the only thing set in stone was my job. That was nearly 3 years ago 🙂

Four weeks on STT will be a good pre-move visit.
Have you thought about a week or so on STX?
My first several visits were to STT, but once I visited STX, I decided to relocate here.

I visited all three islands and chose STX because of it's 'relaxed atmosphere' and possibly because it was much larger than the others. Less of a 'rock fever' condition in my opinion. Didn't like all the hustle and bustle of STT and STJ was way out of my price range.
