I am planning on relocating to STT this fall. I have a few questions to anyone who could be of any help!

1. What is the best time to come down and look for a job and place to live?

2. I am looking for a bartending job - what are some of the good night clubs to apply at?

3. Where is the best place to live on the island?

Thank you in advance!

1. It is recommended that you arrive early for seasonal jobs (Oct-Nov). Bring enough money to keep yourself going for a period of time- at least a month or so. Get your health card (you will need it for food & beverage employment). Stay in a guest house/ B&B and seek out locals. Keep your eyes and ears open.
2. There is a tendency for a great deal of turnover in the night club business- partiers seem fickle. When you arrive for your visit, you will be able to determine which restaurants, clubs etc. you would feel like frequenting.
3. Again, the "best" place to live is very subjective- you will need to make that decision for yourself. Some people like town and some like country...
