I have been a licensed Captain most of my life ! I have worked on Yachts, Research, Oil & Mineral, Fishing, ect... Is it reasonable to think that I could find work in the islands???? Thanks Jim 😛

Yes, but not this time of year!
IMO you should do a PMV in late Sept., early Oct(season starts November).
Check out the Term Charter operations, the bare boat operations, Dive boats,Dive shops, Cruise Ship Excursions, fishing boats etc.

Thanks Dun ! I felt that i should be able as travel is such a large segment of the economy. Then sometimes everybody has a license. It would be nice to run an inter-island ferry... Thanks for the input !!!!! Jiim

Everybody does have a license!:-) Already several inter-island ferries, but they occasionally need captains. They do, however, tend to hire experienced, local waters, captains.
