I am a teacher who is looking to move to either St. THomas or St. John for a year or so. Does anyone have any info on either apartments for rent or local school that may be hiring. I am qualified to teach middle school, high school and college level classes.

Allison: The Dept of Education is looking for teachers, esp. math/science, foreign language and special ed. The main number is (340)774-0100. There are, in addition, several private schools. Have you been down for a visit? It is much easier to meet with people in person and to get an idea of apartments, etc. School is out in late May/early June. Good luck!!
