I am planning on moving to the island in August. I was curious if this would be a good time to come. I was also wondering if it would be difficult for me to find a job. I am graduating from college in May and want to take a year or two off before going to work in the "real world." I have bartending and waiting tables experience and was just curious if I would be able to find a job to support myself while I was down there.

Yes, that would be a good time to come, however, season does not get into full swing until around November, so you may need to have enough funds to get you through. You will be able to grab some of the better jobs, since you are so early.
