My Move Date Has Been Moved Up.....

I posted a couple of threads here stating that I was moving to STT at the beginning of October. My plan was to work this summer, save up to close to 10K, make a pre-trip visit for 6 days at the beginning of September and then move a month later if nothing scared me off.

My plan was to find a bartending job and something else while I was there.......and then plans changed....FOR THE BETTER!

I have a buddy that has lived there for almost 2 years now ,working on the computers for schools in STT & STJ, he just got a big contract and will have 9 NPS total in STT & STJ and he is hiring me to work for him. Got a decemt starting salary, a company car, and he is renting me a 2 bedroom apt.

What started out to be a scary move has now gotten A LOT easier knowing I will be moving there with a decent paying job, a car, and a place to live.

My move is now planned for the week of July 25th, here's to hoping I enjoy my move and more importantly, enjoy all the new friends I hope to make (clanking beer mugs).

That's great news! Does he need anyone else to help? I moved here Sunday, June 19th and I am looking for employment in the IT field.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, I appreciate it. I will keep everyone updated on how my move went and how I am transitioning to Island life.

George, when I get to the Island at the end of next month, I will let my buddy know about you and pass along your interest and see if he has anything.
