I've been following NASCAR for a few years now and I decided to go against the folks who like the "really" popular drivers and chose Joe Nemechek (Army 01 car) as the guy I follow. He's been my driver for the past 5 years or so.
On a whim I decide to see if he has a web site the other day and in his personal bio he says he's originally from Florida, but his residence is in St Croix, USVI. Pretty cool! Now I like him even more! 🙂
On a side note, when I flew down to STT a couple years back I sat two seats behind Robbie Gordon in first class. Also pretty cool...heh.
Just thought it was interesting the people who live there. 🙂

I didn't know Joe Nemechek lived here. I've been a fan of Dale Jarret's for several years. We have several "famous" people here, but mostly they like to either be left alone or treated like any other local.

It didn't say where exactly, just STX. I definately respect everyone's privacy so it's no big deal, but it would be cool to bump into him (or other celeb) and just say "hey". 🙂
