Good luck with your search, but if you are looking for a owner finance/for sale by owner I wish you more luck. You might have better luck with a condo. Also, check out the island trader mag, it's online and they have rentals as well as houses and property for sale.

Curious, why would you care if it was for sale by OWNER? You're not paying the real estate commission.

I'd hypothesize that since the seller would not be paying the 6% commission on the sale, they buyer's expection would be that the price would be significantly lower due to the lack of this sales commission.
