I am in need of some help on HO6 insurance. We are attempting to purchase a condo on STT and I am having trouble locating a company that offers it. I would assume that I may need to purchase this insurance on the island but I am willing to bet that there has to be a "national" carrier that offers it for the USVI too. Can someone please give me some hints on this!!!! Where I should buy??? Who I should talk to??? That kind of stuff. Thank you all for any help you can give me on this.

Contact a local insurance agent. Marshall-Sterling is on STX, probably on STT also. They have quoted H06 policies from Lloyd's, Island Heritage Insurance Company, and Real Legacy Assurance Co for the VI.

All insurance is regulated through the office of the Lt. Governor. They are very picky about allowing companies to sell insurance.

Try Ostrander insurance, Brian gave me a better price than sterling and Marshall. Don't have his number handy, sorry

I used InterOcean insurance at Peter's Rest on STX for mine.
The actual carrier was Guardian but I found going thru InterOcean cheaper
