Did anyone go to Salt River today to see the new ferry? It sure is sleek!

I missed seeing it placed on the water. (Was there earlier but it was delayed due to a broken hydrolic line on one of the cranes) But I was back in time to watch them manuver it from the launch area by the bar, around the island, to the company docks. Almost entirely done old school...by hand. A very impressive operation.

Here's a cool video recorded by Chris Hanley from his drone.

Thanks for sharing.
It'll be interesting to hear how it handles on its sea trials.....and rough seas.

What a gorgeous design and how thrilling to see her finally going into the water! This is really exciting for both islands and an affordable way to travel between the two. Awesome!
