Chicken Charlies is having a band and a dinner. The sign is on the porch on the left side of the building. The yacht club is doing something but you have to be a member or a guest.

I'm going to get a couple of bottles of good champagne, prime rib at Good Spirits and watch the moon rise on my gallery and user in my next trip around the sun with the SO and a friend or two.

Zebos is having Deanna Brown and her band play. There's a $20 cover but if you get a reservation there, there is no cover. Not sure about other places. Tutto usually has something - does anyone know??

At 6:56pm on 12/31, you can watch the International Space Station fly over St. Croix. It's brighter than Venus, so it should be easy to spot, even with the full blue moon lighting up the sky. If you miss it, just check the link below for future dates and times.

Oh man, that sounds like a perfect New Year's eve. I am so jealous. I am sitting in the snow right now. 🙁

Thursday night is a full moon. A Blue Moon in fact. So the ISS might not be that easy to see. We're gonna look for it anway.

When we're not looking at the space station we'll be looking over at DixieChick's house to see how many burned out Christmas bulbs they have 😎

We expect to be in bed way before the ball drops.

A Safe and Happy New Year to all!

I'm going kayaking for the first time at Salt River. Guess the bio luminescent critters are at peak during a new or full moon. Should be nice tonight!
I just heard that they're dropping a large fungi ball off the F'Sted pier tonight!
