Has anyone been up to the new and improved Paradise Point? Do they still have the Wednesday party? Is there a special on the tram??

I just talked to one of the bartenders this morning. Still $5 for locals with I'D. Wed night party is on at least for now. Restaurant open, but still working out kinks.

They told me $5 Wednesday after 5 for everyone, $5 all the time for locals. Will report later...

Yes, that's how it was priced in the past, but I think that rate on Wed applies to hotel guests and locals. Cruisers pay a higher rate, and hotel guests have to show room key or card.

It was $5 for locals and hotel guests. Some of us walked up and ran into some folks off the Freedom of the Seas who said they didn't want to pay the $21. I don't blame them. If it was just $5 for everyone, they would have a great crowd. The new redo looks great. It was impossible getting a drink. We finally just went to the bar. No one ever came by to ask if we wanted anything else. I guess that is why they charge the cruise ship people so much! LOL. Still the best sunset view...

The locals will come often at $5 and they'll buy food and drink most likely. The cruise ship passengerhave a bushwacker or two. I think the price is comparable to trams at other tourist destinations.

ms411: Unless they work on service, no one will get a second bushwacker.

Ha, ha! I have a friend who orders 2 iced teas, because she knows the service won't refill when empty, so maybe Paradise Point patrons should be encouraged to order 2 because they won't get another chance.
