On STT - many times I have read threads on the forum asking about opening a mobile food business - this was a successful truck at one time and could likely be resurrected in some form with new energy - of course with no price listed in the ad there is little way to really evaluate the chances of success financially.
There have been some food truck events of late here - I haven't attended any but do patronize a couple of my favorites for pates, heineken and specials.
Just an example of a niche that occurs here once in awhile - I have no knowledge or interest of the particular business.
If the moderator feels it is inappropriate to post her - NO problem.

With OTG moving to a permanent location and maintaining their clientele, and with Sapphire opening a beach bar/restaurant the current location is not ideal. Bbq is over done here now. Smoking Rooster, OTG, and my Saturday favorite Lechon King. It opened back up very briefly as a Johnny cake place and had a paradise subs sign on it last I saw. The new food truck at Mandela Circle is very good too. Asian street food is a niche I would explore.

Asian street food is a great idea for a food truck. It works for about 95% of the people here I'd bet.
