Nisky Center Firebombed?
Wow...
Just heard the recruiting station at Nisky was firebombed.
Yes and there is more, I'm told. Waiting patiently for solid news. Most/all federal facilities on lockdown.
ST. THOMAS — A man firebombed federal offices in St. Thomas in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, The Virgin Islands Consortium has learned. Details of the incident, which occurred at around 2:00 a.m. this morning, remain scant, but the suspect, who is said to be in custody, firebombed the offices of the federal recruiter in the Nisky Shopping Center, as seen below. The offices hosted recruiters for Navy, Army and Air Force.
It is unknown whether a motive for the attack has been established. V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte said the incident is being handled by the federal government, and that information had been transmitted to the V.I.P.D., which will be issued to the media sometime today.
While the suspect is said to have also targeted the Coast Guard offices on the waterfront next door to the Senate Building and the Ron de Lugo Federal Building also on Veterans Drive, none of those buildings show signs of damage or attack. There were two V.I.P.D. police SUVs parked outside the Coast Guard offices at 11 am today.
Are you serious Alana?
Sarcasm due to the fact the senators were voting on the sin tax and other bills, yesterday, singlefin. It was in poor taste given the destruction caused.
I apologize.
