Now that's a great way to start off the tourist season. This is one of the busiest days of the year and we are sitting in darkness!

It was out last night AGAIN for over a hour.

The rates we pay and to have daily black outs. We pay premium price for electric service.

Sounds like they are rotating the power (they must have one or more units down).
My power was down this afternoon(Frenchmans bay).
That's what happens when you hire relatives to repair units they know little or nothing about it!
I'm with you build on the PR power.
What are their rates?
And, I wonder if the higher ups @ WAPA will be having their fillet Mignon & lobster party on our dollar again this holiday!

Dun,
I Googled it and it looks like Puerto Rico pays around 24 cent a killowat while we are in the 40 cent range. I am thinking forty miles of cable laid down in a hundred foot deep water would have to pay dividends at those rates as well.

Using Power from SJU is the RIGHT thing to do for the VI. But the VI government does not have the STONES to do the right thing. Running high voltage power is not a big problem. So if there are any of our senators on this page why don't you do something right. GET RID OF WAPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
