Nice article on Hamilton and historic Christiansted, but I strongly object to the characterization of St Croix as filled with strip malls and luxury resorts. What about Frederiksted, Mahagony Road, the rain forest, the tidal pools, the varied beaches, the organic farms, the wonderful restaurants, Salt River, Cane Bay, Point Udall, South Shore Road, Buck Island ,the various colorful neighborhoods, and the many annual island wide celebrations? Strip malls and luxury resorts? Really?

Couldn't have said it better. The author was off the mark there.
