When you call, don't expect them to come right away. I called them a couple of weeks ago, on a Tuesday morning, left a message and they didn't get back to me until the next day at 5. Didn't end up using them for other reasons, but it was still annoying not having them answer the phone.

I used Oil Genie once and was very satisfied with his service...will be calling again. $50 is a bit steep for an oil change but considering he comes to your place etc. it's well worth it. He even has a printer and prints out a receipt from his computer etc. Very professional operation for something run out of a truck. He was also very courteous and nice.

It sounds to me he offers a good service at your location for a good price (like me).
His neglect to answer may be growing pains, or personal issues!
Still,it`s bad business to leave your customers unanswered...
Though, i think a busy business that gets back within 24hours is good (or even great)considering other island alternatives!

Oil changes seem like pretty simple stuff, but the wrong person could leave your oil plug loose,& your engine will soon be destroyed!
This is a definite possibility in the VI!
There are some competent operations,& many incompetent operations!

Followup. He just finished.

Thanks to Nforbes for the number !!

He called back the day after i left the message, came the day after that.
Had filters for a car that the Honda dealer was unable to get for oil change. (Not a Honda.)

He was was courteous and efficient -- and went over all of the little things (oiled hinges, checked
levels, filled tires, etc.)

We were very pleased with the service and professionalism.

Price was higher than service stations, lower than dealer.

Well worth it to me.

Thanks all!
