Since you asked on a USVI board- the ONLY rum is CRUZAN!!!!!! Let's see: Cruzan dark, light, 151, Estate Diamond, coconut, pineapple... I knew I wouldn't remember them all!!

Cruzan Single Barrel, said to be like fine cognac. For regular drinking Cruzan or what was my favorite, Mt. Gay.

PS. In the islands, if you drink rum, it's usually rum and coke. All those foo foo drinks are too sweet for serious drinking!

Actually, when I mix my rum, I like a Concord:

1/2 oz Kahula
1/2 oz. Bailey's
1/2 oz 151-Proof Rum

Too many and you will fall off your chair. Also, lack of sensitivity in your body parts. Any rum, any way is good.
