....doesn't look like its gonna happen:
http://virginislandsdailynews.com/news/lender-seeks-to-foreclose-on-golden-resorts-1.906867

I'm trying to figure out who's dumber;
Golden = I'm gonna build a resort on quicksand, just downwind of a swamp, on property with no beach....which he may not actually own
Jericho = giving Golden $16.7 million to build on said property
The first Hedge Fund = who loaned Golden the money to give him his start

Its not Golden. He's found a way to fund his lifestyle of private jets and luxury resorts for the past 7 years, borrowing/stealing from his Mom to buy the swamp for $1 or $2 mil, then spinning a story that prompted Hedge Fund #1 to invest in him.....then when that money ran out....Jericho took the bait.

Bankruptcy, then hopefully the land ends up in the hands of the National Park Service with the Gasperi land.

Anyone who actually thought this would fly WAS flying high on something. Another speculator bites the dust.

Is this the property that Beal wanted for their plant back in the mid to late 90s? When they shut them down, I thought the judge said they had a period of time to make it a public park. Historians??

Beal wanted to build the tallest building in the Lesser Antilles at what is now Camp Arawak East End Marine Park, and transport their diesel and fertilizer fueled rocket boosters through the 3 to 6ft deep pure aqua waters of Great Pond Bay out to an island 100 miles east off of Anguilla. Their offer was to trade the VI Govt land they had bought across the street and trade it for the land that had been donated to become a park by Ned Jacobs (I believe). An idea that was truly dumber than building a golf course on quicksand ala Golden.
