Well, we're officially on "vacation" now and early saturday morning, we'll be on our way to STX! With a box of krispy kremes and all...Anyone else need anything from the 'states? Better place your orders now!! We'll be down checking out our condo (we close in a month or so) and hope to meet most of you!!

well, i hope i don't talk too much for amanda in this... but here it goes.
i know that they are staying at a condo on condo row. they've had a little trouble with a dish washing machine leaking into their downstairs neighbor's condo. fortunately this is NOT the condo that they are purchasing.
my wife and i have met amanda and her husband. we even went out to the movie theater last night. it was a good time and we (at least i do) plan on hanging out with them a couple more times before they leave.
the best part (other then how great they are) is that they brought down that box of krispy kremes!!! 🙂 YAY!!! i surprised my wife with them. she about jumped through the roof. i've only had 2 so far, because if i try for more i'll get my hand cut off. but the 2 i had were de-lish!!! thank you so much amanda!!! you are the best!

gracias adam! we haven't been on the net much cause we've been exploring! just got back from cane bay (again) and trying to decide what's for dinner! we're already in love! jamie wants to move NOW...i at least want to settle some stuff at home before we move! so we're still looking at at least another year before that happens!
yes, we're staying at sugar beach on condo row and just personal opinion, not all it's cracked up to be! yes, the other day (tues?) we went to run the dishwasher and then had a knck a little bit later saying we're leaking on the people below...on the upside, a new one's being installed right now BUT now the microwave doesn't work! oh well!
saw OUR condo (at st. c) wednesday and LOVE it!!! we so can't wait for our trip in auagust already! had a bit of surprise when we got there (there were unexpected guests!) but got some good background from them as well. all we're doing now is kinda getting an idea as to where to get a dishwasher and new fridge for the place and to find someone to clean and someone to check in on the place.
well better get going before jamie starts to wonder where i went! we've LOVED meeting some of you and hope to meet more before we go or on our trip in august!!!! stay in touch and we'll write more (maybe, i've done a pretty good job now!) when we get home sun/mon!

I would be willing to provide those services for you - cleaning and checking on it. Always looking for something to fill my free time. I am somewhat handy - passed the Michigan Residential Builders exam a few years ago. And I can clean a pretty mean place.
