Hello all. I am just getting ready for my move. That is if it ever quits raining here! I have to have a garage sale, the rain will definitely put a damper on things.

My question is in reference to online shopping. Do you find that the major stores like a Best Buy deliver to USVI? If so, is there an extra charge?

I appreciate all responses.

Cheers,

Matt

I have shopped with and had excellent service from: LL Bean, Lands End, Amazon.com, Williams-Sonoma... One thing to check is if they have "VI" on their state drop-down menu...If not you may have to call and ask about delivery. Some don't understand that we are in the USPS system.

Ditto Amazon. Also, The Company Store, Victoria's Secret, Eziba, the list goes on. However, the list does not extend to Best Buy, when I tried to order last August it was a no-go.
As East Ender mentioned, many do not know that we are part of the USPS system and charge astronomical international rates.

Thanks for your responses. I've noticed that East Ender, Onika, Islander, Chris and others, contribute quite a bit to this board. It is very helpful. Let me know if there is a get together in July or August. I'll be there.

Cheers,

Matt

As mentioned most will ship here. I have incountered a few that didn't have the VI on their drop down and I called or emailed and complained that we weren't international. All responses were favorable and they either had me order by phone, one smaller online company that sells hobby supplies added the VI and then had me order.
