I was just watching the O'Reiley Factor and he said he just returned from staying on St. Croix at the Buccaneer and was impressed with the service and anyone looking to travel should give it a try and " keep it in the family" (US). He said he's been to STT and STJ and this was his 1st time there. Just thought I would share that. Justin

I caught that plug for STX last night too. It sounds like he had a good time on the island. I wonder if he got out and about or just stayed on the grounds of the Buc.
I'm going to do O'Rielly one better. I'll be at the Renaissance (Carambola) on Thur. But I will spend a day on STJ and another on STT to really spread my money around.

I don't watch FOX News and even though O'Reiley is a pinhead, I appreciate the plug for STX and the Buc

You just might be a pinhead if you cannot spell his name correctly. It is Mr. O'Reilly.

Pinhead?? You are being kind ...

It is a shame that anybody supports the racists, misogynistic rantings of talking heads like O'reiley, Beck and Hannity.

Ms I, my thoughts exactly but I didn't want to start a war with those who believe that FOX is actually news. Fair and Balanced, BS

Hey Savage, intelligent and constructive first post, welcome to the forum, although it may be a bit to liberal for your tastes

RAmen, and Glenn Beck is even worse than O'Reilly. At least they have gone to the effort of collecting many of the crazys and putting them on one channel for us so that it is easier to skip when we channel surf.

I don't care if you like O'Reilly or not...he has the highest rated cable news program...by a mile......and that is an amazing plug for the Buc.....a good thing for STX and the VI.

Precisely. I only like what is good for me, screw everyone else, they are not as enlightened as I. I love this sense of entitlement most liberals have. It truly needs to be studied as a social science.

I'd rather not have the kind of people that watch him here in St. Criox.

Can't stand FOX Cable News let alone "The No Spin Zone " w/ O'Reilly.

I watch MSNBC or CNN if I want to watch national news reporting. Nice plug for STX though.

I was going to say the same thing about the right wing radicals. Actually this 'moderate' is angry because the radical spokesman on the right (Limbaugh,Beck..etc) have continued to attack our way of life. They have developed and spew out a body of lies that have made our president's job harder and congress ineffective. They have encouraged hate, intolerance and racism.

The moderates (you call liberals) do not have this army of bloggers and talking heads to present their views. Instead, they, like me, want to just leave people to their own beliefs. However that tolerance ends when we are attacked time and time again.

Enough of this topic...bye.

Why would any one watch the National news when we have all the news that fits here in the USVI.

Who's the bigot now? I digress:

Bombi, I did not mean that as a personal attack. I should have used more grammatical inflection.

Everyone is entitled to their political stance, but from what I have seen on this island it is pretty conservative on most social issues. Fiscally? Well, hard to tell.

However I watch all news outlets and form my own opinion. Take some time and read some foreign papers online. They always have an entirely different perspective, sometimes very scary.

Stay warm tonite!

Bigot? I think not. I'm fighting for equal rights for ALL. And it's the far right conservatives that think that their views and religion supersede the principles of our constitution.

It was my mistake for over generalizing those who watch him.

I could go further, but let's leave it there.

Agreed. Everyone deserves reasonable equal rights.

Great plug for St Croix and of course The Buccaneer. Sadly, great news for St Croix message on the board to a political agenda for other. Regardless, the 30 second clip was viewed by millions and St Croix and The Buccaneer should reap some benefits as it was free advertising.
