Went up to Paradise Point last week with a visiting friend, only to find out that they are closed and in the midst of some major improvements. Last i heard they were bankrupt with no investor on the horizon. What is the latest?

I drove by there last week and saw they were closed. I was surprised as a cruise ship was in port but don't know why or what's happening with them.

The people that used to run (poorly) paradise point leased the property, the people that actually own it took over not too many months ago and are renovating the whole thing and doing something nice with that huge ugly concrete leadup to the building. No idea what the timetable on that is. Last I was up there they vastly expanded the bar, it doesn't have that inside area anymore with the dinky bar up against the wall, it runs the entire perimeter of the first floor.
