Who ruined Donkey Hill?

I think the government should then be responsible for the cost to repair my car because their negligence of road repair caused the damage.

Somebody in, I think, NY already tried suing because of damage from pot holes. They lost, of course. I'm sure the story is online somewhere if anybody's interested in learning more about it.

There was a giant gouge in Donkey Hill a week after it was paved.

I've heard of folks getting reimbursed for rims/tires/alignment from local government in the states but don't know that I've ever seen any proof.

I've always been pissed off with utility cos that dig up the roads and do a miserable patch job without being held accountable. Debating whether damage caused by what should be normal (albeit heavy) use could be more challenging unless the operator was over the posted weight limit for the road or over their registered vehicle weight limit.

Read an article awhile back on the Huffington post about somebody in the UK (?) who was going around spray painting certain male anatomy around the potholes. Got them taken care of much quicker since the only way to get rid of the paint was to put asphalt over the top of them.

Have to say, I do get sick of the concrete trucks dumping part of their loads on the hills around St. John. As long as they cleaned them up properly it wouldn't be a big deal.
