Peppertree Terrace?

List:

I have inquired about tenancy at Peppertree Terrace. The price seems really reasonable which you know the old saying, "you get what you pay for." I have seen brief discussions about this place.

How is the safety issue of this location?

How are the units?

How is the location with regard to rest of the island (I am planning on bringing transportation) so I assume you can get to anywhere from there.

Just would like to know general thoughts on the property. Maybe someone on the list is living on the property or knows someone who has.

Thanks

Peppertree Terrace is centrally located on St. Croix. It's on Rt. 79, across from the hospital, near Sunny Isle. There are stores and supermarkets nearby, and Hovensa isn't far. It's a collection of permanent mobile homes, but it's not a trailer park where you move your rig in or out. It's gated and seems reasonably safe. A friend of ours lives there and has no complaints about it. We've driven in/out a few times, and the place seems well kept. There were no problems with Hurricane Omar, and apparently no problems with Hurricane Hugo either. For Omar, our friend didn't have to take a single thing inside.

We lived in Queens Quarters, just up the road from Peppertree and loved the location. Mid island.

We have a friend there and it does seem like a well kept place for a trailer park and has a manned security gate. If I recall correctly it even has a community pool.
