I know this question has probably been ask before, but I'm looking for up to date answer. I have two small french bulldogs (less than 25 pounds). Are there any condos that allow dogs in STX? I currently have a real estate agent looking into single family homes for our visit in September, but I really would prefer a condo in STX.

Not many I think and even harder for a rental but the relator can help you with that.

We are hoping to purchase a small 1/2 bedroom condo. We are starting to realize a single family home maybe our only option.

Questa Verde condos on STX allows 2 pets under 25 lbs, for owners only. (listed under Hermon Hill on MLS)
Not sure about other condos.
When you look at condo listings on MLS, most of them will indicate, under Details on the right, under Miscellaneous, if pets are allowed.
