Does anyone know when the Pickled Greek is re-opening? It's been closed for a while.

I don't know when, but when we were there in July, I think he said he was going overseas to help a friend out and was going to be a while.

To bad, did like the owner, seemed like a very genuine person, but the food wasn't to my taste. To much rosemary when I was there.

One thing I don't understand when a restaurant is for sale, the listing makes it sound like you are buying something that's a sure thing....the MLS listing sasy: "and a terrific reputation with locals and visitors alike".

However, once the owner and / or chef/cook is gone, the restaurant will not be the same and there is no guarantee the reputation it had, will continue....

I have never liked that location, sitting right on a busy road, and I found the restaurant inside to be super crowded and loud. JMO
