Beth: Check out http://www.teachusvi.net/. I see French/Spanish teacher on there. The Department of Education brought in a bunch of teachers from the Phillipines last year, helped them with visas, work permits and tried to get them through the laborious NOPA process. There is at least one teacher on this board- meowwoof (?) you might check the archives for the name and send a PM...

Antilles School gives tuition breaks for children of their teachers - at least, they used to.
