Pre-Move Visit

Hello, My husband and I are going to be taking our first PMV to STT from May 5-14th!! We are coming to try and make some future professional contacts, survey schools, and enjoy ourselves a bit too. We are not looking to stay in a resort. I write to ask if any of you have a living space that you rent? If so, we are not looking for anything fancy. We are nonsmokers. My husband is a Med Tech/Biologist and I am currently a law student. Anywhere we stay has to be thrifty because we have to keep ourselves on a budget -- with only a year away from our anticipated moving date every savings is considered. Online we have found a few options. Like the Galleon House which looks like a promising place to stay and mingle with staff to learn some helpful island tips. Also found another place with a small kitchenette - which would save us money overall. Both would work but I thought it best to check with this board before making any decision. I gladly welcome all suggestions. Thanks
