Anyone know what's up with Princesse Seafood Market; it's been closed for weeks.

Well, local fishing really dies in the summer. I can remember the last 2 summers I had to buy fish every few days from STT since the local fishermen weren't catching anything or quit trying.

They can't make any money if they have to bring it in. Maybe taking the summer off?

no, i think it's more serious than that. i heard that the owner has medical problems and that's why he hasn't been open.

That's what I heard too, it's not lack of local fish because he had much more than that.

schooner bay has fish - tuna, mahi, catfish.... otherwise, check the locals on the side of the road or check the fishing charters - usually they sell to restaurants but if you let them know in advance, maybe they'll sell to you.
