I've got some company coming down to visit us on Water Island over the Thanksgiving holiday including my brother -in-law & sister-in-law who are active in their seniors community tennis club. They would like to practice/hit some balls around while they're staying with us. I know there are public courts in Subbase but I don't know much about them. What does anyone reading this board know about these courts like....
Are the courts in pretty good shape? I've seen people playing on the courts but didn't really have a reason before to look closer.
Do you have to reserve the time on the courts? If so, how do you do that? Who do you contact?
If you don't have to reserve the time, when is the time of day that you're more likely to find an open court?
Is there a cost to play on these courts?

I think they're first come-first served from what I can find. They turn the lights off at 8:00.

Thanks Trade!

Anyone have first hand experience with these courts?

The Wyndham has some beautifully maintained tennis courts and I have rarely seen anyone playing on them. I'm not sure if they could tell the difference between a resort guest or not. If it was me I would just show up and start up a game, or you could play it safe and give them a call. Speaking of tennis, are there any groups that meet regularly? I don't live full time on the island but would love to play when I am visiting.
