Put some water out for birds and bees!

They're having a rough time finding water in many areas as this interminable dry spell continues and everyone can help by setting out a couple of small water dishes on porches, decks and even easily accessible flat roofs. If you have cats you have to be a little more creative about placement, but see what you can do!

I've had to put a cover over my pool to keep the bats from pooping on my deck at night as they swoop in for a drink. But, yes, we do put out water for the birdies and bees every day.

I have bowls of water out on my deck railings. The thrushies thank me by pooping all over the railings. 😛

I wish I could post pics here directly, I had 17 iguanas and about 2 dozen ground doves circling 4 irrigation heads yesterday afternoon
