It is not on Bunker Hill and is just above town below the Governors // WICO house - a very nice old town property with some pretty architectural accents.

Don't know who told you that it is on Bunker Hill as it is not. The front door is on Snegle Gade. The building looks straight down Store Tvaer Gade. It runs from Virgilio's to the Greenhouse. I believe there is some claim the General Santa Anna did own it. It's not to be confused with Villa Santana which he owned further up the hill. Due to it's proximity to back street the area can be iffy however not that great a problem IMHO.

I did confuse it with Villa Santana before the website was posted so my response is not correct. Sorry for the mistake.

That claim seems to be legitimate according to the information posted on the website and, although I've not (yet) had the pleasure of going inside the property the posted photographs of its interior are very impressive. I do appreciate your comment in the last sentence. It gets a little tedious when some people denigrate whole areas based on one little "iffy" section of it ...

This was posted on Craigs list, it almost sounds like a scam listed under apts. The ad is unclear as to location it says bottom of Bunker hill across from Bunker hill hotel.not sure what is going on.

I know the house they speak of as well as the location. I do not know why they put the Casa Santa Anna's website on there unless he owns that place as well. They are about a mile apart from each other.

I am definitely confused they must be talking about two different buildings. The one up above town i think may have a business on the first floor and a church on the second, with apt. rental on 3rd floor.the other building is very close to the harbour maybe two streets back.

I'm very familiar with craigslist scams and this seems obvious to me to NOT be one of them. There's a local telephone number listed so give them a call.

Mytcar what is true is that Casa Santa Anna is not on Bunker Hill. I do't recall it having a church or business on the bottom floor. If you stand on the crner on Back Street by Virgilio's and look up you will see it. To drive by it you have to drive up Synagogue Hill (Crystal Gade) and back down to Snegle Gade. I do think ther eis a church further down the street on Vester Gade, but that's not Casa Santa Anna. Like OldTart says, call the number.

I think the confusion is arising from the fact that the craigslist poster owns both properties, one of which is the Casa Santa Anna and the other which is in another nearby location appropriately described as "close to Bunker Hill". The photographs of the properties in the ads very obviously support this assumption. Neither of these ads raise any red flags. Just call!
