Good Morning Everyone,

We will be relocating to St. Thomas in July. What is the best way to go about finding a place to rent? Do the real estate agencies usually have a good number of rentals listed or is it better to just look through ads in the newspaper or maybe by word of mouth?

I do appreciate any information you can give me.
Thanks and Have a Great Day !

the island trader and daily news (both accessable online) are great sources. This sight is also good. how big of a place (apt? house?) and how long are you looking to rent?

We plan on renting something long term. Probably at least a year. I would prefer a house, preferably 3 bedroom. But, I know I have to keep my options open. How is the rental market during the summer months? Since it's the island's off season, is there usually more availability?

Thanks again.

well off season (summer) obviously will yield your most options. If you show up in october its very tough.
