Random but bummed me out

are you talking about the officers shot in washington state? my nephew is a sgt. with the sheriffs dept in N.C. and i have heard some awful stories from him. i worry about him every day. he said domestic dispute calls are the worse. he went to one and the husband was hiding behind the door (the husb., was an ex marine and wife abuser) with a big gun. and my neph. had no backup.

they are working with expired bullet proof vests also because the dept can not afford new ones.

i feel for law officers now. they put life on line every day. and these poor victims were just having coffee.

Having moved down here from NC, I can tell you that there are quite a few DDs out there. Very sad indeed.
