What's a good sunscreen that is zinc oxide or titanium dioxide based?  I know all the others became banned in USVI last year.  Looking for a lotion with SPF 30 or 45.  Thanks

@thoogie

We bought this one ( Australian Gold)  on Amazon

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MECR54A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The lotion comes in 30, 50 and 70 and works well. We also tried their spray and 1 out of the 3 didn't have enough propellant and was unusable...

The lotion works well.

Also, look at Stream2Sea brand - we haven't used their sunscreen, but we love their leave in conditioner. Put a little bit in your hair before you go swimming and it doesn't get all knotted up (easy to run a brush through when you get out).

Mitch at Adventures in Diving STX ( https://www.adventuresindivingstx.com/) in Frederiksted sells the Stream2Sea line at reasonable prices.

So far we have only used the Tropical Sands SPF 30 from Amazon currently showing unavailable but Walmart has it for order.

I have tried a LOT of reef safe sunscreens, and this is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever found!

It rubs in like a lotion and does not make you pasty white. And it smells really good!

I found it at SublimeSTX on St Croix but you can order it online also.

If you buy an spf 50 shirt at SublimeSTX all you need to use the sunscreen for is your face, neck and legs!
