Relocating in October...

Hi! My friend and I are looking to move to STT from the beginning of October to mid-February. We are two females in our mid-20s and are willing to share a room to save rent. My question is whether or not we would be able to rent a room and/or an apartment for 4 1/2 months? Also, would it be easy to find a house that is just renting a room? We are two friendly, easy-going girls that just can't stand another winter in Oregon!!!

Thanks for any help!
