Hi!
I wil be relocating to st. croix January 15th of next year coming from Daytona Beach, and I know this is a little far in advance but I like to be well prepared. I was wondering if anyone knows of any low priced rooms for rent for when I first get there while I am looking for other apartments to live. preferebly if you can rent them out by the week. Nothing special, just a place to lay my head until I find a place. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone could give me an idea of how much a cheap basic car that runs and will get me around is on the island, I know prices are a little different than here stateside. Will $500 to $1000 get you a decent moving vehicle? thank you again.

-Chris

Hi Chris,
It is possible I will have an apartment available in January. I won't know for a while, and I won't do daily rentals, but I would do a month to month. If I have anything, I will post it on the classified board, so just stay tuned.

By the way, I lived in Daytona Beach for 6 years just before moving to the VI. Still have lots of friends there and visit occasionally.

Contact danieljude through this board. Not sure what his situation is in Jan/Feb but he has a studio and a 1 BR apt. that he rents by the week. You can also reach him at [email protected] His house is right down by Gallows Bay, very convenient to C'sted.
