Greetings my soon to be neighbors!!
My boyfriend and I are relocating to ST.Croix and are shipping some personal items along with our motorcycles. I am not sure about riding on the islands after all I have read here about the hills. Is there a market for motorcycles on the island if I decide to sell it if that up hill driving doesn't work for me. LOL.
Also would love to have some contact points for long term. furnished apartments. I have tried to contact a Realtor but have had no reply thus far.

There are a lot of Harley's here. Regular rides and events. The hills will not be a problem. Mine is 34 years old and still running strong.

There are people who have motorcycles on the island and a smallish motorcycle club.

I have a good friend who is a Harley rider - he complains about the potholes and the inattentive drivers (he's been run off the road more than once) but he still gets out and enjoys his ride. He lives on the north shore.

Best advice I can give is to have somewhere to lock it up inside when you're not riding it - like locked inside a garage. Motorcycles are easy targets for theft.

Joe Thayer - [email protected] or www.stcroixforrent.com is a good rental Realtor.
