Does anybody know what rental car companies do business at the airport? We we were going to book with Thrifty until I realized you had to take a shuttle to the company. Anybody know where the actual Thrifty building is? Is it far from the airport?

the thrifty office is just across the street from the airport and you will need to take a shuttle to and from the airport at thier mercy... i did it before but it was kinda scary... i know theres a budget. hope that helps

There are Avis, Hertz and Budget at the airport in STX. Hope that is the airport you are talking about.

Budget, Hertz, Avis AT the airport...but the shuttle to Thrifty takes all of 11 seconds...I mean, it's RIGHT there. You could throw a rock from the Thrifty building and hit the runway...

I wouldn't use Budget. Our car was stolen on STT and we had to pay for the extra 2 days it took to find the car. Their logic was very convoluted and they were near impossible to deal with.
