We will be looking for some rental properties late this month in STT, and hopefully, to eventually buy either house or condo. Any recommendation re: location and realtor? Thanks a lot.

Hard to recommend a location. Some people (like me) love the south side of STT, others only would live on the East End, others prefer the North Side. The west side is becoming more popular also. Not much of an answer, I know but you're just going to have to look around to see what fits you best.
I think a poster named Glynnswife is a realtor on STT.

I would highly recommend Claire Mancivalano with Curreri Realtors. Her office number is 340-776-9292. She was the realtor for the sellers of the property we bought, but she helped us soooo much with our move! More so than our own realtor. She even stopped by to check on us to see how we were settling in.
I agree with Trade in the fact you just have to find the part of the island that best fits your taste and budget. If you like being out and away from things the west end is probably a good choice. If you like being in the thick of it all town or east end would be the place. Again, budget would have to be considered.

What kind of rental property can you get for $1000-1500 that is closer to the hospital? Even better for locations that are in between the hospital and UVI, maybe (i'm just thinking if I'm going back to school).
