Has anyone used someone on st croix to repair/replace strapping on outdoor chairs? Its the 1 inch or so straps. We actually have the rolls of strapping but we need someone who can put on new straps. The man we used to use has been dead for a while and his Gallows Bay business closed. Have lots that need to be repaired.

we know how to do it, and have in years past, but can't physically any more, so need to get someone to do them with our supplies.

Maybe ask at Whim Museum?
They may know a furniture restorer that might be able to accommodate you.

I don't think plastic strapping on outdoor furniture would be considered museum type furniture restoration - maybe a sail canvas repair shop or reupholster would be a better place to look.
